The model designation (such as P 380 ) identifies the cab and the engine (in this case, an P cab and 380 engine). All models are available as prime movers and rigids. They are compatible with a range of manual and automatic transmissions and numerous axle configurations suitable for highway and off-road work.
Beyond the many combinations of chassis, engine, transmission and cab, Scania also offers options such as multiple wheel drive, heavy duty frames, rear axle gears and a variety of suspension systems.
